When you walk into a bank, you get that bank’s loans — one rate sheet, one set of guidelines, take it or leave it. Choice Home Mortgage is a broker, not a bank. Since 2005 we’ve had access to many wholesale lenders, and we shop them against each other so your loan lands with whichever one actually fits your situation.
That access is the whole point. A self-employed borrower who’d get a quick “no” at a bank might be a clean approval with a non-QM lender. A homeowner over 62 has different options than a first-time buyer. By working with many lenders, we can match the borrower to the right lender — instead of forcing every file through one institution’s narrow box.
